Garry A. Payton received his BA from Southern Illinois University in 1982 and his Juris Doctorate from The University of Minnesota Law School in 1985. Garry A. Payton has practiced law for almost 20 years. He is the founder of our firm and continues to bring his experience to his clients. While Garry excels in all areas of the law, he most enjoys being in a courtroom. Garry is a former Cook County Prosecutor where he proscecuted many criminal cases from dui's to felony cases, that experience has been an invaluable opportunity to learn how prosecutors work and what they think of criminal cases and defendants. Garry has been able to use that experience in his represenation of clients from all over the country. Garry represents out of state clients including business people, college students, house wives, truck drivers and other walks of life. Garry has represented clients throughout Illinois in State and Federal Courts in both Civil and Criminal Defense.
